Children's Museum of Phoenix

Our last full day in Phoenix Talmage and I went to the Childrens Museum of Phoenix.  Normally costing adults and children $11 each!  But I got to the library 30 minutes before everyone else, making sure I was first in line, used Franki's library card, and got the 2 free tickets for that day.  It is a very unique and creative place for children.  We had a lot of fun.  They are good at using everyday items and turning them into something fun for the children to play with or look at.  Here are some examples... 

Who woulda thunk that a wall of compact discs's dangling from string would be such a hit.

A very large Tree House that even adults can fit and go in.  Made out of wires, wood, plastic crates, big bathtubs, dog house... etc.

A maze of tubes with air blowing through them.  Shove a light handkerchief in there, they'll twist and contort there way through and come flying out the holes at the top. They slowly float their way down until a kid catches them.  The kids were squealing with delight. 

A sand box with a light underneath for more visual effects.

Just random objects that are fun to play with.

This one was actually really fun.  You bring the metal washes to the top of the pole and release them, watching as they spin all the way down. It makes a pretty cool sound too.  The hard part is getting all of them to go at the same time.

One of Tals favorites.  A miniature car wash for them to ride their bikes through.

There were fans at the end to dry them off too.

This is super creative whoever thought of it.  A Noodle Forest to wander through.  Very dangerous if you have big kids running blindly through them.  Talmage got knocked down a few times and I had to rescue him, but it was still fun.

A safer place...a giant room for tots only.  All kinds of fun and creative things for them to get in to.  You stand on this and air blows in your face.

Needless to say...after three or more hours of intense fun....he was exhausted.  Fell asleep in the car before we could even get home.

Even in his sleep he can't let go of his Binky.
