Plunge and Scrub

As Cody and I are preparing to move to Fresno in exactly 8 weeks from today, we decided we would start selling some things on Craigslist.  Stuff that we haven't used in years, stuff we don't want to haul across the country or stuff we have duplicates of.  We want to make this move as easy on ourselves as possible. The less extra junk we have to pack, the better.  The extra cash would be nice for the move too. Especially now, as gas prices are outrageous and we are driving like 36 hours, paying for gas for three vehicles and pulling a trailer.

When we got married, Cody's old roommate gave Cody his old washer and dryer.  We moved them all the way out to Milwaukee with us and have been using them these last 4 years. We decided to sell them and just purchase brand new ones when we get out to Fresno (How exciting!  The thought of owning something new!).  They were getting old and the washer was pretty much crap anyways.

Something we didn't really think about when we posted the washer and dryer on Craigslist, was how FAST they would sell.  The same day I posted them I got a few phone calls.  There were these two big men who wanted them and said they would move them out of our basement and everything.  Sweet deal!  So they were sold and taken from us yesterday.  Cody and I now realize that we have nothing to wash our laundry with.  Either I can go to a laundromat for the next two months and spend all our money that we just earned from selling the washer and dryer or we can do it the old fashioned way, in the tub with soap and a washboard...plunge and scrub....then hang and air dry.

We keep shaking our heads and saying, "why didn't we wait a little longer to post those........idiots."

Also, Talmage is in the process of potty training and he pooped in his underwear today!  How fun for us!  We just have to laugh though....................."idiots."
