Happenings 8 Months

Some huge milestones have happened for my little baby.  He is slowly turning more into a toddler than remaining a baby to me.  This kid is babbling, practically says dadda and mama. Even though he never really gets it on camera, he has said it before.  He waves and claps his hands.  He crawls with his left knee and right foot (weird I know, but he will not put his right knee on the ground no matter what).

He can stand really well on his own and pretty much walks by scaling the furniture.

He actually started up a new balancing game,  standing on his two feet and he will slowly let go of the couch or me or whatever is holding him up and when he feels like he is going to start falling he will put his hands back and then slowly regain his balance again.

One of my favorite things is that he has created his own little head bobble.  He sometimes does it as if dancing to music, or just because he thinks he's funny.  One time he did it for 30 seconds straight.  He can kind of give you a high five (more like a low ten).  He also does this real funny dog, snort laugh.  It used to be a cough laugh (Not sure which one is cuter).  He picks up his own food almost with his thumb and finger, but usually grabs with his whole fist when he is really hungry.

He gets into everything he is NOT supposed to and completely ignores the toys he is supposed to play with.  He LOVES eletrical outlets, wires, cords, computers, cameras and cell phones. (Don't tell anyone but he already zapped himself on our computer cord, not bad... just enough to scare him and make him cry a little).

He always slams head first into most objects, hence all the bruises on his forehead.

Gets himself stuck in the legs of our table chairs, behind doors, t.v stands, and toilet.  Has recently discovered door stoppers (ZING!!!) and toilet water.

Loves to stare at other people.  Will win any staring contest.

And my favorite...his two bottom teeth popped a couple weeks ago!

You can barely see them glistening on his bottom gums

Ha ha tricked ya

Hey come back another day when I am not so ornery

Much happier, Marshmallow Matey anyone?

Can you see the teeth? Aren't they adorable?

Loves being tickled, thrown into a pile of pillows and swung around wildly.  Loves being gross, when he burped the other day he started laughing. Loves to sleep on his stomache with his face smashed in the corner of the crib and his butt straight in the air and his hands tucked under his belly.  Loves to sing and dance. He move his arms like he is directing a choir.   And he is still a little baldy... just a chunkier version.
