Talmage is nine months old! It is crazy to me that he has been out of my uterus now for as long as he was in it! He is almost walking too. He can pull himself up onto his feet into a standing position and balance on his own for about 1-2 minutes. He took 5 steps by himself the other day.
The kid loves to watch the screen up close.
He loves to bounce, but he was so tired he fell asleep mid bounce and then every few minutes he would wake up and bounce once or twice then fall back to sleep. It was just about the most adorable thing I have ever seen.
Talmage had his 9 month checkup and everything looks great. He is 45% for head size. 50% for weight, and 80% for height. As far as his skills go, this kid is far exceeding in the Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Problem Solving, and Personal-Social skills. His Communication skills require some learning activities and monitoring, but we don't need to hire any professionals yet. The extent of his communicating is smiling, giggling, waving (more like directing a choir), head bobbling, cough-laughing, squealing, clapping and a rare "dah" or "mah." So it looks like my next project is making sure I am saying a LOT of words to Talmage.
