Utah in September

September was a bit crazy as you can imagine.  We had Cody gone from mid-August  to end of September without a single visit.  We had two puking, pooping, peeing, flea infested puppies living with us.  And two crazy little boys!

Talmage was enjoying school a lot and seems to have already made a few good friends. He also started soccer.  He loves practice, even though his face looks like he doesn't care in the picture.  They warm-up doing ring-around-the-rosie, helicopter arms and somersaults.  They each got turns running and kicking the ball, making goals, then doing scrimmage at the end of practice. Perfect for a 3 1/2 year old.

The last week of September we had Cody move home and decided to do something as a family.  So we headed to the zoo before our membership ended. Talmage was so happy and kept posing and asking for me to take his picture.  I obliged him a few times.

Cody got to see Talmages second soccer game.  Tal would do great at practice then for the games just mostly want to sit on the sidelines and watch.  A lot of other parents said their kids did the same thing their first year too. He'll grow out of it and get more competitive.

This is what the dogs did all month, besides chew up toys, poop and pee all over and jump up on the boys scratching them with their little puppy claws.

The last week of September we took off for Utah, stopping in St. George as usual to hang out with Papa and Grandma Dee.

Tristan was very upset we wouldn't let him eat all the marbles.

Uncle Tony showed up to hang out for the night and we went to a spin park.  Dizzy babies = hilarious!

"Mom, I already have a hard time walking straight as it is! Then you go and make me dizzy, this is not going to help!"  Tristan walking sideways.  Starting to really get the walking thing down.  He always has his hands up and walks like a...well I call it the "drunk frankenstein" to plant a picture.

The next day we went on a hike in Snow Canyon.  We enjoyed the movie theater room, the hot tub and pool and all the delicious meals Deette prepared. 

Always a true vacation stopping in St. George.

We got to Bountiful and hung out with all our siblings and cousins.  We stayed at Mckenzie and Cahces new house. They were the best hosts ever.  It was fun stayng up at night watching tv with them.  Even if it resulted in all of us falling asleep within the first 30 minutes.

We were able to score some tickets to the Circus thanks again to the Burk family.  So nice! Unfortunately the boys were not in the best moods.  We ended up leaving right after the poodles were done hip hopping to "Go Shorty it's your Birthday"  So funny.  I'm sad the boys couldn't last, I really wanted to keep watching.  The talent is insane.

We were also able to head up to our old stomping grounds in Logan.  It had been awhile.  We watched Tony's ultimate frisbee game! He is very talented, and amazing how high he can jump and quickly he would catch and throw the frisbee.  Too bad he was the only talented one on the team.

Great Grandad 'Pudge' who sealed me and Cody and Great Grandma Doris.  We all headed to Cafe Sabor where Pudge treated us all to a delicious lunch. 

The last few days of the week we spent with my side of the family.  I unfortunately forgot to charge my camera for game night at Kenzi and Caches, but everyone came!  It was so fun having all my siblings in one place.  I also packed the camera and couldn't find it in our overloaded van for baby Westons blessing on Sunday. We went to Ash and Billy's ward and watched our newest nephew receive his first blessing.  He's a precious little guy, so small.  It was weird holding him, especially compared to holding Tristan.  I couldn't even feel him, he weighed nothing at all!  Oh, I already miss my family!
