On to Monticello!

It took us all day to get to Monticello, because we had to stop several times and eat leaves. Of course!
That night we got there and crashed, traveling is tiring! Besides we had to rest up for the next few days, which were packed full of fun adventures.

The next day begin with walking around the ranch and looking at the horses, cows, dogs, bunnies and other creatures and critters.
Watching Baby Einstein DVD's with uncle Tony.
Going to a cookout in the magestic Monticello mountains with Great Grandad, Great Grandma, Great Uncle Fent, Grandad, Grandma, Uncle Tony, Mommy and Daddy.
Talmage and Great Grandma figuring each other out.
Talmage figured Grandad out pretty quick, but Grandad is STILL trying to figure out Talmage.Once Great Grandma and Talmage figured each other out, they played! It looks like they are both yelling at each other, but I swear they were having fun!We ate dutch oven potatoes and chicken, salad and lemonade.  Everything was perfect, except the crazy wind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The next day we went over to Great Grandma and Grandad's and had Navajo Tacos (Cody's favorite). We played Mexican Train dominos (another favorite) and then watched the NBA playoff game.  What a blast!
Talmage was worn out, but he fights sleep like no other.  So we simply gave him to his Grandad.  Something about that strong grip and soft belly puts him to sleep every time.

After all the fun was over, there was some much needed bathing to be done. We had a great time in Monticello and we miss it already!  Until next time!

  1. How fun! I'm so glad that you were able to see everyone and travel as much as you did. That's a good little traveler you have there!
