Here we go again....another trip! This one was only 7 days after me and Cody's Cancun trip. This time it was with Talmage and Tristan, sans Cody. Instead of driving the whole way by myself, I decided to bite the bullet and buy some tickets to fly out to Couer d'alene with the boys. The reason for the trip was a good one. My little brother Garrett and his Fiancee (now sister in-law) Holly, were getting married! We love Holly and were so excited to be there for the wedding. Cody, of course was not allowed any extra time off and couldn't change his schedule. Therefore, very bummed once again, to miss another family wedding. It was Tristans first time on a plane. And for Talmage it had been a long time since his last trip. The boys loved the plane. I on the other hand...had my hands full, to say the least.
We finally made it to beautiful Cour d'alene with out any major problems. The next morning Talmage was very worried about that poor tree that was dying. It was a bit chilly, but it didn't stop us from having a lot of fun that week.
As for the wedding part.
Most beautiful couple ever, award, goes to Garrett and Holly. It was a beautiful wedding!
They got sealed in the Spokane Washington Temple and then had the ring exchange, dinner and reception at the cabin right on the lake.
Talmage was asked to be a ring bearer....so cute! Banxton of course was there to help Tal not be so nervous walking down the aisle.
Sweet little flower girls and their cowboy boots.
Almsot the whole family was there. Ahhh Cody.
Even though the rest of the sibs, (Cody, Cache and Billy) aren't in this picture, I still love it because it say's what I think we are all feeling...and that is that we are so excited about welcoming Holly as a part of our family. We love her so much already and she fits in perfect. Garrett and Holly were meant to find eachother. I truly believe those two were made only for one another and no one else! I am happy to say that another one of my siblings made another great choice, and I know they will be happy for eternity.
As for the other part of the week...it was filled with fun...boat rides, parks, good food, good company, lots of laughter.
It was also fathers day that week. It broke my heart I wasn't around Cody on that day. My own father appreciated all the love for sure! Here he is weeping at most of his grandchildren giving him a big group hug.
This little munchkin takes after his mother. My little mugwamp, loves firepits too.
We loves our cousins!
The week wouldn't have gone as smoothly if it weren't for these two lovely ladies. They were my babysitters for the endowment session, sealing, wedding dinner and part of the recpeption. We definitely kept G.G.Ma out way passed her curfew for sure. Felt really bad about that one, but she took it like the super star that she is. After the rest of my family left for home, we spent a day or two with them. They treated us to a really fun adventure pizza place. Talmage went miniature golfing for the first time and has now grown a new obsession for the game.
Not to mention he has some talent..he got two, hole-in-one, shots.
We slept over at uncle Jim and Jills and played with all their fun toys and then packed up the next morning for home.
Here we go again. You can't see in the picture, but the stroller was holding two carseats and a few extra bags. Arms full people!!!
